I read something in an interview off of thirteam but I couldn't find it again. It was maybe Steve talking about how spoiled Cleveland fans are and how no matter what they do, the fans never seem satisfied. Just wondered if anyone wanted to discuss it.

I see it as they must be pretty satisfied to continue to buy tickets and sell out every single show they've put on in Cleveland for past 9 or 10 years.

Yea i gotta go with jpopson43 on that. I was at the final show of 2006 and they were wall to wall people. I mean there will be a few that may have been spoiled and think they should get more, but that happens anywhere. Not always will every single person be satisfied.

I lived in Cleveland for 8 years and I got to see them whenever they played, so I guess I was spoiled in that sense, cuz since I've moved, I've seen them once in the last 2 years.

First off, I'm not 100% sure on who was being interviewed, but whoever it was was saying how Cleveland gets a show every month while other people wait years and come to the shows and spend all their free money on stuff and are simple stoked to be there. Maybe the interview was during the down time before SS and Waylon and was simple fustrated with the expectations of playing in Cleveland. Idk as a long time fan, its like I want MRH to get the global respect they deserve but at the same time I whip out my "well you should have been around back when..." card when I talk to new fans.

I wouldn't call Cleveland fans "spoiled," but they most definitely are LUCKY. I live about 3 hours from Cleveland and it is very difficult to get to shows. The last few times I've gone with friends, we had to get a hotel room for the night. And nobody in my areas knows the band.....so in a sense, you Clevelanders - or Ohio natives, for that matter - are very blessed. You're at the center of the magic. Those of us who do not live within the magic have to rely on the Web, eBay and cool people from Ohio to get our Shroom fix. Haha.....I plan to move out to Cleveland in the next 2 years. Not just for Shroom, but because I LOVE the city so much.

Aboutely not. Cleveland has been always been loyal to MRH, and I really doubt it was Skinny who said that.

I don't know, I think Cleveland fans are probably the most loyal....but lately I've been seeing people saying things like "I wish Mushroomhead would come to Cleveland" and things like that...it goes with what shroomhead27 was saying....except the part about Waylon...not sure about that...

Thanks XXMUSHROOMHEADXIII for mentioning it was Stitch. The interview just gave me an idea of how it can be on the other side of the mic. I used to be more like shroom should sound more like this and blah blah blah. Now I'm just happy to support em and happy that new people are finding out about them.

I don't think that we're spoiled, but we definitely take it for granted. I've been seeing this high-school kid at a lot of the mushroomhead shows at peabody's. Not only is this kid a complete douche bag, but he keeps talking about how the shows were back in the day, back with ALL the original members and all that. I'm 22, mushroomhead has been around since 1993, if i do my math correctly.... *carry the 2.... born in november... subtract 5....* i was 9 when mushroomhead first started. So a lot of the fan base has stayed in the same age range (starting with highschool kids). And these kids feel entitled to EVERYTHING. That's what pisses me off. Because you have fans like myself, and most everyone at the cleveland shows that are just happy that such a great thing has lasted this long. *rambles off*

I don't think you lucky sonofabitches are spoiled, just lucky. If only they could be more appreciated overseas, then there would be a bigger chance of them touring internationally.

I love C-town bands, I would like to live there for like a year so I could see concerts of MRH, PBF, Keratoma, VentanA and Schnauzer like every other week! Also to see my buddy Fred! Plus all the record stores that have most of the CDs I want that I can only get overpriced on ebay

yea, i guess us c-town fans have it made, with the great concerts all of the time.
joebox, you should think about going to college in cleveland, weve got cleveland state university and case, and close by are kent and akron. probably would cost you more since you are from out of state, but csu is about $9k a year for full time (not including living expenses, tuition only). if you go for civil engineering i could help you out with homework.
