The self titled CD by Mushroomhead was made years ago. Now Ive been told their are three copies of this. You have the re-release, then one with black text, and the other original has white text. I was told the change in color was due to a different stamping. Is this correct? And what one was actually the original? I'm just missing the white text version.

from what i was told, the black with white text was original. i think they just started doing them in black text for no apparent reason probably.

The black cd with silver text is the true original. There were only 500-1,000 of those printed. They were later printed with the silver cd and the black text. The back covers of these 2 cd's are different as well. The original has the song titles in a smaller font, and has the 'thanks' on the bottom half of the cover. The second printing has the song titles in a bigger font, and the 'thanks' are inside the cd booklet. Also, on the original printing, 'Ego Trip' is spelled correctly. On the second run, there was an uncorrected error and it was printed as 'Ego Tripp'. Lastly, the original just has a front cover, no booklet or lyrics. Whereas, the second run had a booklet with the lyrics and thanks in it...and the group picture on the back of the booklet. So, those are your differences.

I think it's because they wanted to put the lyrics with the CD, ya know? Personally, I love reading lyrics, it kind of helps you get a better understanding of the song.
