Wow this is absolutely awesome! Thanks for sharing this man. Would you mind letting me download this so I can make a burnt copy? I was able to win the To Know Whats Up cd on ebay, should be in anytime, but this shit is really cool, I never thought I'd hear any of their other releases. Cheers man, and thanks a lot!

I didn't upload it, I just stumbled upon it in my never ending quest for Unified Culture stuff, but there are ways to download it (your temporary internet folder). I emailed the guy that ran the site and he gave me some really cool information on UC and the origins of MRH, I'll post the email later.

Right on man, that all sounds interesting, ive been looking for stuff on the band too. I read somewhere there were 4 releases. 1 demo, 2 cds, and an ep. Not sure if that's accurate or not, but it makes me very curious to find it and listen. Thanks again for this great find!

Yup, there are 4 releases. The one in the link is the first one, the 1991 Demo.
Here's some interesting info he sent me:
I was in Unified Culture from about 1990 till around 1993. Actually Unified Culture started off as a studio project. The bands I was in before UC, the singer use to work with Jason (J. Mann) before he was in any bands. Jason was looking to record a demo and I use to do recordings so we hooked up. So we started recording demos on a 4 track back in 89/90. We would bring in bass players up until Jason hooked up with the drummer from back then Vic. Shortly after that Craig (Bass) came along and John (other guitar) then Mike. They were a great bunch of guys to work with. I ended up leaving because Jason was in the process of getting a large sum of money to start seriously recording and the musical direction of the project wasn't 100% what I was looking for. So rather than waste the rest of the bands time & money I decided to leave.
A little more history if you didn't already know. Mushroom head was started out of UC. John Sekula (JJ. Richeous) was working with a keyboard player towards the end of his time in UC. John asked me if I was interested but at that time I was overloaded with other obligations (mistake). This turned out to be the start of MushroomHead. I actually went to high school with Jeff Hatrix (Jeffrey Nothing). He was a few years older than me. The first high school talent show (when I was in 9th grade) Jeff was playing, I believe he was in 12th grade. This may take a lot of looking but I should have his performance on tape as well.
I do have many pictures and other recording from back in the day. It will take me some time to convert this and get them on the site. Jason an I use to do a lot of demo recording so if it didn't make it to a show I probably have it on tape (yes tape back then). Probably the coolest thing I have with Jason was a Jackson 5 cover over a techno mix. Craig and I recorded a few items but the only think I can find with him is one of my originals and him playing on it. He was incredible back then as well.
I normally populate past sites when I have down time so if you don't hear back check the site every now and then for updates.
Thanks for writing,
Scott

Early 90's Releases...
The first demo should be a 3 song demo I believe this was 1990 [Jason - Vox, Sopata - Guitar, J.Sekula - Guitar, B.Sekula Bass, Novak - Drums] Fascinating Unified Culture Piece of the Rock
Then in 1991 another demo [Jason - Vox, Sopata - Guitar, J.Sekula - Guitar, C.Martini Bass, Novak - Drums] Fascinating Unified Culture Piece of the Rock New Frontier Crack Down
Then in 1992 [Jason - Vox, Sopata - Guitar, J.Sekula - Guitar, C.Martini Bass, Novak - Drums] New Frontier Generations Torn / Bad Trip Anatomically Identical Big Funky Al For the People
Then shortly after that [Jason - Vox, Sopata - Guitar, M.Martini - Guitar, C.Martini Bass, Novak - Drums] Sail Away Free Yourself Realize Sunshine

Umm, what about the full length album 'Realize' from '93 and the 4-song ep 'Numbskull' from '94? Those exist as actual releases on cassette with artwork...I own them.
