The only thing that I know for sure is that they said it might be similar to their 99 and below shit, maybe a little harder. Man I saw a vid on YouTube and Skinny and Jeff were dissin' the shit outta Waylon.

I agree with everyone...I miss the MRH that I started listening to when I was 12, but I have to say that even though their sound has evolved and it's not exactly the same, they always tend to not sound like anything else. I remember when they were being compared to alot of bands during the nu metal era, and thinking, "Have these people ever listened to them? They don't sound like anyone else out there!"

95 was pretty good...then there was Superbuick. That has to be their best album to date! M3 was almost as good as Superbuick, XX gave all outside Cleveland listeners the feel of MRH. XIII had like 4 good songs. SS gargled by balls to the fullest!!! AAHH!

I agree with that. Mushroomhead has almost like their own style that I've never heard in any other band. Not even their side projects sound like them.

XIII had like 4 good songs I liked all of XIII, it had a different feeling to it but it never lost what i loved about mushroomhead; the keyboards, the samples, the blend of nothing and jmann vocals. You gotta love "the dream is over" with Jens Kidman from meshuggah. It'd be fuckin sweet if jmann and jens performed it live. I can only wish.

I liked pretty much all of XIII, and IDK I guess its just not the same without J-mann, I mean Waylon is good and I give em props but nobody can replace J-mann

I mean shit, Waylon I still feel something with him. I don't see how people can't just give him a chance. I'm sure Skinny and Jeff didn't "truly" mean to diss him. Maybe not. I don't know. I think we should just except the fact that JMann is gone and Waylon wont sing as good as he did like in XIII or Superbuick. The War Inside was also good on XIII along with Kill Tomorrow. Actually those are my favorite songs from XIII. You can't kill Bwomp though. Greatest song in America...no the world!!

Man I know what you mean, one of the best live songs of MRH, I love the flashlights they use on crowd and everything. To me erase the doubt is like a MRH theme song or something to get the crowd pumped up

They were most likely just busting his balls. Everyone in the band does that to each other, they're goofs. The main element I would like to have on the new album is more keyboard driven songs. You know songs like Bwomp, Born of Desire and Big Brother had such a unique feeling to them because the keyboards were crucial to the songs. I also agree Just Pretending is a good song, it reminded me of the old style with the piano and Jeff singing towards the end before the chorus. Same with The Need and Cut Me, in my opinion.
